Summary On the evening of 01/16/2026, a limited number of users experienced intermittent connectivity issues. The disruption was caused by an upstream infrastructure outage affecting one of our third-party service providers. The majority of users were not impacted.
Impact A small subset of client instances experienced connection failures or degraded performance. Most users continued operating normally throughout the incident.
Root Cause The issue originated from an upstream provider outage and was outside of our direct control. While our core systems remained operational, certain traffic paths were impacted, resulting in service disruption for a limited number of users.
Response The issue was identified shortly after reports were received. Although the incident occurred outside of normal business hours, the situation was actively monitored and investigated. Updates were communicated publicly as information became available. Once the upstream provider resolved the issue, service began recovering. A small number of users experienced residual issues overnight, which were fully resolved by early morning.
Resolution All affected services have been fully restored and are operating normally.
Preventative Measures While third-party infrastructure incidents cannot be fully prevented, we are continuing to review monitoring, routing, and failover behavior to further reduce the impact of similar upstream issues in the future.
Closing Notes We understand the importance of reliability and appreciate the patience of those affected. Incidents of this nature are rare, and we remain committed to transparency and rapid response.
